GREAT NEWS! Governor Rell signed SB 428, now Public Act 10-117! With the efforts of CCA and you, our members, we have made a great stride in strengthening our licensure. This will become effective on October 1, 2010 – the usual time for such a change in law!

As counselors we need to be involved in advocacy. Contacting your legislators about issues important to counselors may take only a few minutes and does not require special knowledge. You can make a difference by contacting your legislators who rely on you to inform and educate them about your concerns.
